Terms of Use
Last updated 10/29/26
Postal is an app for Mac and iPhone for reading and sending Gmail, operated by California Community Commerce, LLC ("we," "us"). These terms apply to the Postal app and this website. By installing or using Postal, you agree to them. Postal was called Supermail until October 2026; these terms cover it under either name.
Access
Postal is currently free. The Mac app downloads from postal.llc. The iPhone app is distributed only through Apple (TestFlight while it's in testing, then the App Store). For the Mac app, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use it on your own Mac. You may not resell it, or copy, modify, or reverse engineer it.
If you got Postal from the App Store
These terms are between you and California Community Commerce, LLC, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Postal, its content, or its support. Copies of Postal from the App Store are licensed under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). If these terms conflict with it about that license, the Standard EULA controls.
Your Google account and your mail
- You sign in with your own Google account and choose to give Postal access to your Gmail. Your mail stays yours. We claim no rights to it.
- You can remove Postal's access at any time in your Google Account settings.
- Your use of Gmail is also subject to Google's own terms. Postal is not made or endorsed by Google.
- Our Privacy Policy explains what Postal does with your data.
Acceptable use
Don't use Postal to send spam or unlawful content, to access accounts that aren't yours, or in a way that breaks Google's terms or overloads Google's services.
Updates
Postal may download and install new versions automatically. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.
No warranty
Postal is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep in mind that actions you take in Postal (sending, archiving, deleting) happen in your real Gmail account.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, California Community Commerce, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Postal. Our total liability for any claim about Postal is limited to $100.
Ending access
You can stop using Postal at any time by removing the app and its access to your Google account. We may end or suspend access to Postal at any time, for example if these terms are broken.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Postal after a change, you accept the updated terms.
